Day 1
Package Includes: Cowboy Cookout Lunch, Covered Wagon Tour of the Grand Canyon along Pine Creek Rail Trail, Visit to PA Grand Canyon Overlook at Leonard Harrison State Park, Start Park Visitors Center, and Transportation.
Following along with the friendly Wolf as we head over the mountains to enjoy the wonders of Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon. After a brief rest stop en route we'll arrive in Wellsboro just in time for lunch - we'll be treated to an authentic "Cowboy Cookout" that will make you feel like you've been transported back to the old west with this awesome lunch before we board the horse drawn covered wagons.
You'll feel like you've stepped back in time for sure as we depart in the covered wagon ride into the PA Grand Canyon's Upper Gorge along Pine Creek. The tour guides are fluent in the history of the Canyon going back to the 19th century. They will tell the tale while the horses wind their way on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Take a jump into history while enjoying everything the canyon has to offer. (The tour runs rain or shine, so be sure to dress accordingly). We'll visit the PA Grand Canyon overlook at Leonard Harrison State Park. The panoramic perspective provided by this well-developed State Park area is some of PA's most precious scenery. Enjoy some free time to take in the views and colorful foliage.
Following your covered wagon ride, you will depart for home with a dinner stop along the way at your expense.
