DAY 1

Join Wolf's for this three-day adventure to Virginia. After a short coffee stop, you begin the day with admission included American Celebration on Parade where history, culture, and festivity come together in a spectacular display of national pride. Stoll through this building that showcases the vibrant tapestry of American Traditions, including grand parades and breathtaking floats. Join in celebrating the diverse heritage that makes this nation unique, as we honor the past with joy and enthusiasm. Whether you've visited before or are a first-time, this is an unforgettable experience that captures the heart of America. After a lunch stop at your expense, experience the charm and beauty of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley on the Virginia Scenic Railway aboard the Blue Ridge Flyer that ventures westward from historic Staunton through the scenic valley's farmland on a destination bound for the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. Your ticket includes dinner during your train excursion. Your hotel accommodation for the next 2 nights will be at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Staunton (540-213-4100). The hotel features a fitness center, indoor pool and free coffee/tea. Guest room amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave and complimentary internet access.

DAY 2

Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel before beginning your day at Monticello- Home of Thomas Jefferson. This 45-minute guided walking experience includes first floor spaces in Thomas Jefferson's home, the West Lawn, and the South Wing. You'll learn about Jefferson and his vision for American, the realities of slavery on the Monticello plantation, and the mountaintop's iconic architecture. In addition to the tour, you will have access to the gardens, grounds and exhibits at your leisure. Lunch is included today at Michie Tavern, proudly owned and operated by the same family for 55 years. Get a taste of the 18th-century as you enjoy your buffet with a beautiful view of the blue Ridge Mountains. This afternoon, you will stop at the King Family Vineyards situated in the heart of the Monticello American Viticultural Area. This farm is home to some of the best vineyard sites in Virginia and located only 16 miles from where Thomas Jefferson first planted European grape vines at his home, Monticello. You will have a chance to taste a variety of select wines and connect with their expert wine staff while they lead you through the tasting. Dinner tonight is included at a local restaurant.

DAY 3

Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel before checking out and departing for a visit at the Walton's Mountain Museum. "The Walton's" creator and John-Boy's alter ego, Earl Hamner, grew up in the home across the street. The Walton's Mountain Museum offers replicas of John-Boy's bedroom, Ike Godsey's Store, "The Walton's" Kitchen, "The Walton's" living room, and the Military Museum annex. They have a 30-minute video featuring Earl Hamner and the stars of the "Walton's". The museum displays hundreds of photographs and pieces of memorabilia. Visit the Recipe Machine, Exhibit, and Scripts rooms. After your time at the museum, lunch will be included before your last stop of the tour at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum. Retrace the inspiring journey of our 28th President as you stroll through seven galleries which explore Wilson's early years, his eventful presidency, suffrage, prohibition and World War I. You will depart late afternoon for home with a rest and dinner stop at your expense along the way.
