Virginia Beach & Norfolk, VA

DAY 1

Board your Wolf's Coach and depart for Virginia Beach, Virginia with appropriate rest and meal stops at your expense along the way. Upon arrival this afternoon in Virginia Beach, you check in to our host hotel for the next three nights - Sandcastle Resort on the Beach (757-428-2828). This oceanfront hotel features a heated indoor pool, exercise facilities, complimentary wireless internet, 2 on-site restaurants, gift shop and convenience store, bicycling rentals nearby and located just steps from the boardwalk and beach. Guest room amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, 37-inch LCD TV, microwave, mini-refrigerator and hair dryer. This evening, dinner is included at a local restaurant. After dinner, return to the hotel for free time to relax at the hotel with a view of the ocean from your private balcony, stroll the boardwalk or lounge on the beach and watch the sunset.

DAY 2

Wake to breakfast included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach and depart for Norfolk to enjoy tours by land and water. Your first tour is by land at the Naval Station Norfolk narrated and conducted by Navy personnel. After clearing security, your guide will take you on a "navy-approved" driving tour through the home of the Atlantic Fleet and what is also the world's largest Naval Installation. View ships of the fleet and the airfield during this unforgettable experience. (NOTE: Passenger 18 years and older are REQUIRED to present valid Government Issued Photo ID and clear airport-style security to be permitted on base in the bus for this tour. Valid Passports are REQUIRED for NON-US Citizens). After the tour of the Naval Base, you have free time at Norfolk Harbor Waterside for lunch on your own and at your expense with a variety of restaurants and eateries in the area from which to choose. This afternoon, relax and experience the water portion of the tour aboard the Victory Rover. Enjoy your front row seat to the naval fleet as you cruise on the Elizabeth River and see Navy vessels which may include destroyers, submarines and other vessels while taking in the sights of the harbor. Afterwards, you return to your hotel where the remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy as you please. There is always the indoor heated pool, fitness center, beach and boardwalk, soak in the sights of the ocean and sounds of the waves from your oceanfront balcony. Dinner is on your own and at your expense with available dining options at the hotel or within walking distance.

DAY 3

Breakfast is available at your leisure and coupled with a day on your own to do as you please. You may wish to get an early start and catch an amazing sunrise overlooking the Atlantic, stroll the beach for some shells, or rent a bike and ride along the dedicated bike path that parallels the boardwalk, or catch a few extra winks of sleep if you were up late enjoying some of the VA Beach nightlife. No matter what you choose, enjoy the day your way! Lunch is on your own, but make sure you save room for a buffet dinner fit for a king at Captain George's Seafood Buffet. After dinner, you return to the hotel for the remainder of the night to enjoy your last night of surf, sand and scenery.

DAY 4

Begin your morning with breakfast at the hotel before you pack up and board the motorcoach to travel home with rest and meal stops at your expense on the way.
