DAY 1

PHILADELPHIA 250 is a fully guided walk back in time to the creation of the country in Philadelphia, America's Birthplace. Hear stories of the people, places and things that made Colonial Philadelphia the seat of government for the young nation, and see the very buildings associated with the founding of the United States of America including the site of the First and Second Continental Congress.

The day begins with a quick coffee and comfort stop before continuing to Philadelphia. Upon arrival, the fully guided experience begins with a walk back in time, sharing captivating stories and focusing on the very buildings associated with the founding of the United States. Key visits and walk-bys will include the Liberty Bell Center and the UNESCO World Heritage site, Independence Hall, where you may take a guided tour to see the Assembly Room. The tour also explores the Museum of the American Revolution, focusing on "The Declaration's Journey" exhibit, and includes historic structures like Carpenters' Hall and Franklin Court. Around noon, the group pauses for a delicious, sit-down three-course lunch, offering a chance to recharge and discuss the "Questions to Contemplate" concerning the Founding Era. Following lunch, the tour continues with a visit to the National Constitution Center, an interactive museum dedicated to the U.S. Constitution. The professional guide will skillfully navigate the historic district, tailoring the order of stops and interior/exterior access to ensure the best possible experience for the group given the time constraints. The group will then board the bus for the return journey home, including a fast-food dinner stop at your expense on the way.
