Travel with Wolf's to St. Michaels on Maryland's picturesque Eastern Shore - a quaint, waterfront town rich in colonial history, coastal culture, and maritime charm. Upon arrival, your day begins with an included lunch at Foy's Harbor Grille, located right along the water. Choose from delicious options including a classic Crab Cake Sandwich, a flavorful Cuban Sandwich, a juicy Burger, or a crisp Caesar Salad.
Following lunch, you will have free time to explore downtown St. Michaels and visit the renowned Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (admission included). First settled in the mid-1600s as a trading post, St. Michaels retains its storied colonial past with historic homes dating back to the early 1800s. Use your time to stroll down Talbot Street to browse local boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops, or spend your time exploring the museum's 18 waterfront acres dedicated to Chesapeake Bay history and boatbuilding. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!
Next, you will board the Patriot Cruise vessel for a scenic 70-minute narrated voyage along the Miles River. As you sail, the captain and crew will share fascinating stories about St. Michaels, the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, local War of 1812 history, and the historic mansions lining the shore-including iconic estates featured in the movie Wedding Crashers.
Late afternoon, board the motorcoach for your journey home. A fast-food stop will be made along the way for dinner on your own.
