Day 2

Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach and depart for Buffalo to explore the rich history and beautiful waterfront. Your first stop is for a guided tour at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, preserving the Ansley Wilcox House where, in 1901, Theodore Roosevelt swiftly took the oath of office following the assassination of President William McKinley-a pivotal, dramatic moment that changed the course of American history. Learn about the events that took place here through interactive exhibits and a narrated walk through the home. Next, you head to Buffalo's vibrant Harbor to enjoy some free time for lunch on your own and at your expense as well as explore the revitalized waterfront. Mid-afternoon, you will gather with your fellow passengers for a driving tour of the Buffalo Naval Park. The largest inland Naval Park in the US, the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park features four decommissioned Naval vessels that served in a variety of military conflicts in our nation's history. Additionally, the Park also houses a beautifully manicured Monuments Garden, museum, US Military exhibits and a maritime simulator. Now it is time to explore the Buffalo Harbor aboard the Grand Lady. Cruise through the city's storied waterways as your guide shares fascinating tales of Buffalo's rise as a thriving port city, its historic grain elevators, and the revitalization of our waterfront. Witness nautical landmarks like Buffalo Main Light, the Naval & Military Park, Canalside and more. The day in Buffalo ends with dinner included at a local restaurant and followed by return to your hotel for the remainder of the night.

Day 3

Wake to breakfast included at the hotel prior to boarding the motorcoach for travel to Lockport for a 2-hour narrated cruise along the Erie Canal and Lockport Canal. Your fun and informative cruise will take you through locks 3 & 4, which is the only double set on the Erie Canal and experience being raised or lowered in one of the locks. Additionally, you will pass under Lockport's "Upside Down Bridge,' Lockport's "Big Bridge" (the widest bridge in the U.S.) through the "deep rock cut" and under lift bridges. Following your "locking through" experience, you have lunch included before departing for Becker Farms for a tasting of their locally produced wine/beer/cider and time to explore the grounds and stop at the petting zoo. Late afternoon, you return to your hotel in Niagara Falls and enjoy an evening free to have dinner on your own and at your expense, visit the nearby casino or enjoy the hotel amenities.

Day 4

Begin your day with breakfast included at the hotel before your last thrilling and thunderous adventure which is a ride on the Maid of the Mist to get up close and personal to the US and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Water rushes all around as you soak in the excitement and explore the roar of the Falls. The water falls from a height of 167 feet at a rate of 600,000 U.S. gallons per second from the Horseshoe Falls. You will receive a poncho to wear during your cruise. After your heart-pounding, one-of-a-kind experience, you bid farewell and return home with lasting memories and hopefully scenic photos of your trip to Western New York. You will make meal and rest stops at your expense on the way home.
