Neptune Festival In Virginia Beach, VA

DAY 1

Travel with Wolf's to Virginia Beach, VA to celebrate the 51st Annual Neptune Festival. Spanning 30 blocks of the Virginia Beach boardwalk, Neptune Festival welcomes visitors to come together and celebrate the beach life with daily concerts, more than 400 arts, crafts and food vendors, sculptors from around the world that transform the beach into works of art in the Sandsculpting Championships and more. Following meal and rest stops at your expense along the way, you arrive in Virginia Beach for check-in at the Oceanfront Inn (757-422-0445) for a three-night stay. Located at 29th Street on the boardwalk, you are steps away from the Neptune festivities. In addition to a seasonally heated indoor pool, the hotel features oceanfront rooms with a private balcony, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, hairdryer, complimentary wireless internet access. After a brief time to freshen up, depart for dinner included at a local restaurant. Entree choices for your dinner are as follows: Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes, Honey Citrus Grilled Chicken or Grilled Coldwater Salmon. (If you have not already made an entree choice, please contact our office at least 30 days prior to departure). The remainder of the night is yours to explore the Neptune Festival or return to the hotel to relax and unwind.

DAY 2

Wake to breakfast included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach and depart for the Virginia Beach Surf & Rescue Museum where admission is included to explore the fun exhibits and its gift shop. Located at 24th Street on the boardwalk, the building itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and stands to honor and preserve the history of Virginia's coastal communities and maritime history. Afterwards, you have the remainder of the day to explore and experience the Neptune Festival at your leisure. DAY 3

Breakfast is included at the hotel with the rest of the day to hit the beach, stroll the boardwalk to browse the arts and crafts vendors, taste your way through the food vendors, listen to the musical entertainment, view amazing works of art created by world-class sculptors for the Sandsculpting Contest (admission fees applies) and more. The day is yours to do as you please. Lunch and dinner are on your own and at your expense.

DAY 4

Once again, breakfast is included at the hotel before you pack up and depart for the Rudee Inlet to relax and enjoy a dolphin cruise. Enjoy a 90-minute experience narrated by their experts who are ready to share their knowledge and answer your questions about dolphins, other marine life and the Virginia Beach coastline. Once back at the dock, you depart for home with memories from a taste of the beach life in Virginia Beach. Meal and rest stops at your expense are made as needed on the way home.
