Day 1
Be sure to eat some breakfast before boarding so that you have energy to sustain you for a day of excitement. Holidays through a child's eyes are a wonderous part of the holiday season and at Wolf's we like to see the wonder through all of our guests! Today we'll make our first stop at the National Christmas Center. A true national treasure, you'll have the opportunity to be amazed by world-class exhibits that tell the real story of Christmas throughout the centuries. From St. Nicholas and St. Francis, with now over 1,250 nativities from around the world, to Tudor Towne and amazing storefronts, all bring awe and wonder to the little girl or boy in all of us.
Then we head to Murdough's Christmas Barn in Robesonia for our next holiday adventure. Everyday since 1953 has been Christmas at Murough's. Featuring an enormous selection of Christmas decorations and trim, you'll find everything you're looking for to add to your holiday décor - among the collections include German nutcrackers and smokers, Annalee dolls, Byers' Choice Caroler figurines and more. Find something to add to your stockings or something to start a new holiday tradition - there is something for everyone on your Christmas list.
Let's have an early dinner at Blue Mountain Restaurant in Shartlesville PA - serving homemade food for a great price since 1990, we'll take time to enjoy a hearty meal and share holiday traditions and plans with the other guests. After which we will board the coach for a short trip to Koziar's Christmas Village.
Driving through the darkened countryside and coming over the last hill on the unlit country road is like driving into a fairyland! More than a million Christmas lights adorn buildings, gift barns and landscaping. Koziar's has grown to a mammoth and extraordinary seasonal attraction that you won't want to miss to complete your holiday treasures! Lighted walkways illuminate the village that will allow you time for an unguided walk at your own pace. (Pathways are wheelchair accessible and remember to dress appropriately for conditions as there are both outdoor and indoor displays). Free time is allotted for browsing the lighted displays, Santa's post office, bakery and more. Holiday magic abounds and we can't wait to share this with you and your friends and loved ones.
We'll board the bus for the drive home with wonderful memories dancing in our heads.
