Join Wolf's for a trip to Philadelphia for a fascinating guided tour of Eastern State Penitentiary, in addition to an unusual and entertaining narrated Ghost Tour as you walk along the streets of Independence Park and Society Hill.
Following a short coffee stop along the way, you arrive in Philadelphia at the Eastern State Penitentiary. This guided tour, led by one of their educators, explores Eastern State Penitentiary's history, its relevance to contemporary social issues, and sets the stage for conversation about justice and the role of prisons in society. Afterwards, you board the motorcoach and depart for The Shops at Liberty Place for lunch on your own.
This afternoon, you will meet up with your local guide for a walking, narrated Ghost Tour of Philadelphia. Known as Philadelphia's most unusual and entertaining walking tour, your guide will lead you through the streets of Independence Park and Society Hill revealing the tales of America's most historic and most haunted city. Enjoy a glimpse of the hidden beauty in the city from the quaint cobblestone streets to English gardens. Some of the stories told involve the likes of Ben Franklin and his first library, Independence Hall, William Penn's plan for a "green country towne" and more. At the conclusion of your walking tour, you board the motorcoach and depart for home with a dinner stop at your expense along the way.
