DAY 1
Today, your journeys will bring you to Bloomsburg, PA, where you will be situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Bloomsburg fairgrounds, enjoying the all-around favorite; The Covered Bridge Festival. The festival is one of the largest craft festivals on the East Coast, with hundreds of unique craft and food vendors, including handmade and traditional crafts, turned and carved wood, glass prints, jewelry, pottery, and so much more! You will have time on your own and at your own leisure, to explore the festival, shop around all the vendors, and grab a bite to eat for lunch. Mid-day, you will meet with a local guide, who will welcome you on a historical 3-hour tour of six covered bridges, all in Bloomsburg. Following your guided bridge tour, you will return to the Covered Bridge Festival, where you will have the remainder of the afternoon to resume exploring the festival and all its offerings, and grab dinner on your own. Following your afternoon of shopping and munching, you will depart Bloomsburg, PA, for home.
