DAY 2

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, meet your knowledgeable guide and board the motorcoach for a fascinating visit to the Remington Art Museum. Remington is best known for his art depicting the cowboys, soldiers and Native Americans of the Old West. His career took off in the late 1800's when he began making western illustrations for New York's famed Harper's Weekly publication and many other widely read New York magazines. The museum houses a comprehensive collection of original Remington paintings, sketches and sculptures, as well as a broad array of personal effects and correspondence that serve to bring the artist and his vision to life. Next, enjoy lunch included at a local restaurant before you embark on a captivating cruise to Singer Castle on Dark Island. Explore this magnificent Gilded Age estate, marveling at its grandeur and rich history. You are greeted by trained guides who will educate you about the unique history of the "hunting lodge" of the fifth President of the Singer Sewing Machine Company, Frederick Bourne. Visitors will be treated to four floors filled with furnishings and artifacts original to the castle and the puzzling secret passages of its magnificent over 100-year old structure. Bourne wanted to surprise his wife Emma and their children with an island hunting retreat. He purchased Dark Island in 1902 and had designed and built the 4-story, 28-room castle, complete with 4-story tower, and elaborate boat house, a 2-story ice house essential for fine entertaining and more, originally known as "The Towers". Following the tour, you reboard the boat for a delightful cocktail cruise, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Thousand Islands while sipping on refreshing beverages. Then, disembark at Morgan Island for a truly unique experience: an "Old Fashioned Shore Dinner." Savor the flavors of the region as you enjoy a traditional meal with a touch of island charm. After dinner, reboard the boat for a relaxing cocktail sunset cruise, taking in the breathtaking views as the sun dips below the horizon. Return to the Harbor Hotel, filled with memories of a truly unforgettable day.

DAY 3

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then, board the motorcoach for a fascinating visit to the Antique Boat Museum, where you can explore a remarkable collection of historic vessels. This premier fresh water nautical museum houses over 300 unique and beautifully-preserved boats and thousands of recreational boating artifacts. The museum's most prize possession is George Boldt's Gilded Age era houseboat built in 1903. Next, stroll through the charming Village of Clayton. Enjoy some free time to browse the quaint boutiques and local shops. Savor a delicious lunch at a local eatery on your own and at your expense. This afternoon, set sail on a captivating 2-Nation Boat Cruise and self-guided tour of Boldt Castle. Enjoy a breathtaking excursion into the heart of the 1000 Islands on the emerald green water of the St. Lawrence through 22 miles of American and Canadian waters (no passport required). Listen to an educational and entertaining narrative rich in history, legends and lore while you cruise through the narrow channels, by magnificent homes along the shoreline and under both American and Canadian spans of the 1000 Island Bridge System. The cruise will take you to Heart Island where admission is included for a self-guided tour of Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House. A magnificent tribute to love and heartache, Boldt Castle stands as a remembrance of a bygone era and a monument of love from George Boldt to his wife Louise. Stroll through the 129-room castle, as well as the out buildings and lovely, landscaped grounds. Additionally, you are invited to take a tour of the Boldt Castle Yacht House.
