DAY 2

Your day begins with breakfast included at the hotel before meeting your local guide for a fascinating day of touring in "Bean Town". First up is a tour of Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Enjoy a guided tour of the park including such things as the "Green Monster", the press box, Red Sox Hall of Fame Club highlighting 102 years of Red Sox history, memorabilia and more. Next, sit back, look and listen as your local guide offers interesting narrative and highlights historical and significant places as you drive around Boston. Lunch is on your own and at your expense in the local area. This afternoon, climb aboard a Swan Boat for a lovely ride through the landscaped, 24-acre Boston Public Garden. The swan boat story dates back to 1870 when Robert Paget was granted a boat for hire license by the City of Boston. Experience what was a favorite summer pastime back then and still remains today under the operation of fourth generation Paget family. The Public Garden contains lovely, manicured paths, the famous "Make Way for Ducklings" statues, 4-acre pond with swans and more. Your final tour of the days is included at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum to relive the famous night that forever shaped the course of our history. The experience features full-scale replicas, artifacts and interactive elements, while your colonial character host guides you through this never-before-seen museum experience. You'll "meet" Sam Adams, participate in the re-enactment of the destruction of the tea, be invited to board a tall ship, marvel at one of the only two known surviving tea crates and more. After a busy day of touring, it is time to relax a bit with dinner included at Cheers. You then depart for return to the hotel to turn in for the night.

DAY 3

Fuel up for a busy day of touring with breakfast included at the hotel. Board the motorcoach with your local guide for a narrated driving tour of the City of Cambridge, followed by lunch on your own and at your expense at Quincy Market. For over 250 years the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Boston's residents. Feel the cobblestone beneath your feet, see the roaming performers, and purchase your lunch from one of the ethnically diverse food shops. Browse the various shops, carts and artisans that offer treasures for you to purchase memorializing your visit as time permits. Early afternoon, you have admission included to tour the Paul Revere House. "On the night of April 18, 1775, silversmith Paul Revere left his small wooden home and set out on a journey that would ultimately make him a legend. The home is downtown Boston's oldest building and is one of the few remaining 17th-century dwellings in a large urban area in the US. From the Paul Revere House, you will walk a few blocks, if you are able, to the Old North Church for an included visit. This is the site that Robert Newman climbed the steeple to hang the two lanterns which were the signal to Paul Revere warning that the British were coming. This event led to the "shot heard around the world" in Concord and started the American Revolution. The church was built in 1723 and still has an active congregation. Afterwards, an early dinner is included at a local restaurant. Your day concludes with a relaxing Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise. Sit back, relax and listen as your narrated cruise introduces you to the lore and allure of Boston Harbor past and present while bringing you up close to witness the USS Constitution's sunset ceremony and traditional cannon salute signaling the day's end. You then return to the hotel where you can retire for the night, enjoy a relaxing swim or sip a cocktail in the hotel lounge.
