Sail Aboard the S.S. John W. Brown with Fly Over

Day 1

Package Includes: Tour Liberty Ship - SS John W. Brown, Flybys of Vintage WWII Aircraft (Weather Permitting), Lunch, Afternoon Snack and Transportation.

After a brief rest stop en route - Take a cruise back in time with Wolf's as we tour one of the two remaining Liberty Ships remaining from the Liberty Fleet. The Liberty Fleet was an emergency shipbuilding program in WWII that resulted in construction of more than 2,700 Liberty ships. The ship was constructed at the Bethlehem Steel Fairfield Shipyard and is now permanently located in Baltimore. The ship is steam powered, all propulsion equipment is original, and the engine technology is up to date. We'll view the magnificent 140-ton triple-expansion steam engine as it powers the ship through the water. Tour museum spaces, crew quarters, bridge, flying bridge, wheelhouse, radio room, and so much more.

Lunch on board will include a variety of sandwiches, salads, beverages (coffee, tea, sodas & bottles of water) and an afternoon snack. Seating will be folding chairs arranged on the deck as you eat. During the trip we will also be entertained by music of the 1940s and flybys of Vintage World II aircraft (weather permitting) before returning to the dock. Dress based on the weather forecast for the day of the cruise since much of the time will be outside. Bring a hat & sunscreen on hot days, and a jacket for cooler days. The cruise will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE A MUST FOR THIS TRIP.

Anyone 16+ MUST have a valid, Government Issued, Photo ID with them for this trip - no exceptions.
