Join us and travel to the "Big Apple" to celebrate both people and their unique cultures during the ever-popular 9th Avenue International Food Festival in New York City. After a short stop enroute to New York City, you are dropped off in the vicinity of the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, where the festival stretches along 9th Avenue between 42nd to 57th Streets, for time to explore the festival on your own. One of New York's largest and oldest traditions, the 9th Avenue International Food Festival is a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity through food. The fair offers both traditional festival treats as well as unique cuisine ranging from Greek, Spanish, Polish, Chinese, South Korean and Indian to name a few. Not only does the festival offer international foods, it also features diverse ethnic music and performances to liven the celebration throughout the day. If you were looking for some retail therapy today, browse the nearly 200 arts and crafts vendors located throughout the event space. The festival is held to raise funds for community groups and perfectly illustrates the diversity of New York itself. Make sure to grab a bite of dinner before you depart the festival at 6:30 p.m. A short restroom break will be made on the way home.
