DAY 1
Today, your travels with Wolf's Bus Lines will land you in Washington, D.C., home of the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Art. Your first stop will be at the National Portrait Gallery, where you will have time on your own to explore the Gallery in which was authorized and founded by Congress in 1962, with the mission to acquire and display portraits of individuals who have made significant contributions to the history, development, and culture of the people of the United States. While here, you will also have time for lunch on your own at your own leisure. Next, you will depart the National Portrait Gallery and head for the National Gallery of Art. The National Gallery of Art consists of three different locations that you can explore: The West Building - Home to European and American masterpieces in neoclassical surroundings, The East Building - Full of modern and contemporary works in I.M. Pei's celebrated building, and The Sculpture Garden - Outdoor sculptures adorn the 6.1-acre oasis in the heart of the city. Following your time at the National Gallery of Art, you will say your farewells to Washington, D.C., and depart for home.
