Grease At Bucks County Playhouse

Day 1

Today, your travels will bring you to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to the one and only - Bucks County Playhouse. You will have the day to sit back, relax, and enjoy an included lunch, followed by the iconic musical, Grease. Located on the site of a former grist mill on the banks of the Delaware River, The Bucks County Playhouse is known to be "America's Most Famous Summer Theater." Upon arrival in Bucks County, you will be welcomed by a delicious lunch (Traditional House Salad, Surf and Turf Duet Plate including roasted salmon filet along with a tender grilled flat iron steak, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and sauteed green beans. Dessert will be a rich and creamy smooth traditional chocolate mousse along will soft drink, coffee and Lipton tea) included at the Playhouse Deck, a thoroughly modern, yet laid back perch over the Delaware River, attached to and behind the legendary Bucks County Playhouse. Following your savory lunch, you will take a short walk from the on-site restaurant, right over to the Bucks County Playhouse, for your included show. Beginning at 1 p.m., you will have the joy of seeing the iconic 'romcom', Grease. Following through Ryder High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies", in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in the rollicking musical. Watch Greaser and good girl Sandy, try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights." Be prepared to hear the favorites, "Greased Lightnin'", "It's Raining on Prom Night," and many more! Following the show, you will depart for home, with a short stop along the way. L
