Day 1
Hop aboard and prepare yourself for a day of good food, dessert, friends, family, memories, and laughter! How can you beat all of those in one day? Plan for an arrival at Bird in Hand Family Restaurant at approximately 11:00 a.m., for an included delicious smorgasbord lunch of endless options. After lunch you will have time on your own, at your own expense, to explore the many experiences that Bird-In-Hand has to offer. Take in the sweet smells and the tasty sights of the delicious bakery and café items at Bird-In Hand Bakery & Café, or maybe you want to stop by the Bird-In-Hand Artisan Village and browse around the home furnishings and décor, artwork, clothing and accessories, jewelry and more. You will need to return to the Bird in Hand Family Restaurant for a 1:00 p.m. showing of Ryan and Friends All Star Comedy Show. Ryan will give you all the laughs in the world as he combines uplifting comedy skits with audiences' most-requested parody songs in styles ranging from country to Broadway. Enjoy a show full of laughter with this popular comedian, ventriloquist, musician and all-around funny guy….and of course you cannot forget about, his friends! After the show, you will depart from Bird-In-Hand to head out for the Turkey Hill Experience & Tasting Lab. You will have many interactive experiences while you learn about dairy culture, the story of Turkey Hill Dairy, and how the company's ice cream and tea flavors are created! You will have the opportunity to create your own virtual ice cream flavor, sit in the vintage milk truck, enjoy plenty of free samples of iced tea and ice cream, and more! Enjoy the fun experience of making your own ice cream as well. Thanks to the taste test lab, you can make your own ice cream until it is perfect for you! While your ice cream hardens, you will be able to enjoy a brief "Ice Cream 101" class. You will depart the Turkey Hill Experience & Tasting Lab with a fast-food stop along the way at your own expense, before arriving home.
