DAY 2

Wake to breakfast included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach and depart for Goat Island which is located between the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. Goat Island got its name from John Stedman during the 1770's when he used the land to raise a herd of goats. While on Goat Island, you have admission included for the Cave of the Winds and the Observation Tower. Come closer to the Falls than you ever thought possible. Ride an elevator deep into the Niagara Gorge, and then receive a poncho and special footwear to follow a tour guide over a series of wooden walkways to the famous "Hurricane Deck". You will stand at a railing that is a mere 20 feet from the waters of the Bridal Veil Falls, the smallest of three Falls in Niagara, to witness the rushing waters and feel the spray of the waters from the thunderous Falls head-on. The Observation Tower provides the only panoramic view of all three Niagara Falls, including the American Falls. Afterwards, you board the motorcoach and depart for a winery tour featuring 3 different wineries. Niagara Falls USA is home to a flourishing wine region that features a cool climate and rolling hills and valleys that make for optimal growing of grapes. Each winery offers a diverse selection of traditional vinifera style, native, late harvest and ice wines, as well as unique style which may include fruit wines, meads and ciders. Your first stop is at Bella Rose Vineyard & Winery. Established in 2015, Bella Rose is a 57-acre estate with 8 different varieties of grapes. Enjoy a delightful wine tasting featuring a selection chosen by your hosts. You are welcome to browse the winery to purchase wines to take home with you. At the conclusion of your visit, you depart for the Winery at Marjim Manor for lunch and a tasting. This W.O.W. (Woman Owned Winery) is housed in a 9500 square foot mansion with a unique appearance and storied history that dates back to the 1800's and even has said to be inhabited by spirits from the past. The fruit used to produce their award-winning wines comes from the Bittner-Singer Orchard owned by Jim Bittner, husband to Marjim's owner, Margo Sue. Enjoy a tasting of a few select wines as well as lunch at Marjim Manor. A third winery (TBA) will be visited for a tasting prior to returning to the hotel for the evening to explore downtown Niagara and grab dinner on your own.

You'll pass under Lockport's "Upside Down Bridge," Lockport's "Big Bridge" (the widest bridge in the U.S. at 399 feet wide, through the deep rock cut and under lift bridges.
