Niagara Falls, Ontario

DAY 1

Your travels today take you to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and while enroute you will make a non-fast-food breakfast stop and fast-food lunch stop, both at the passenger's own expense, in addition to any other necessary rest stops. Upon arrival at the border to Canada, you will have to individually present valid identification in the form of a Passport or Passport Card and follow procedures as instructed by border patrol representatives. You will arrive at the DoubleTree Resort & Spa by Hilton - Niagara Falls (1-905-358-3817) for a three-night stay. The DoubleTree is a 4-star hotel and is located 2 blocks from the brink of the Falls. Resort amenities include an indoor saltwater pool, two-lane adult lap pool, whirlpool, cedar sauna, well-equipped fitness facility, 24-hour business center, coin operated laundry, on-site Starbucks café, in-house steak & seafood restaurant, cocktail lounge and AVEDA Spa offering a range of services (additional costs will apply for spa services). Guest rooms feature a mini refrigerator, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea supplies, hairdryer, LCD flat panel TV, complimentary high-speed internet access and iron/ironing board. Dinner this evening is on your own as well as the remainder of the night to stroll around Niagara Falls or enjoy the hotel amenities. After dark, the nightly illumination of the Falls transforms your experience into one you'll never forget.

DAY 2

Your day begins with a full breakfast included at the hotel. Your local guide will meet you at the hotel and lead you on a narrated driving tour of the Niagara area including a scenic drive along the Niagara River Parkway, stop at the Floral Clock, the Niagara Whirlpool, the Horseshoe Falls and the Welland Canal, as time permits. Lunch is on your own after the tour. Next, prepare to get up close and personal with the Horseshoe Falls aboard the Niagara City Cruise (formerly the Hornblower). Water rushes all around as you soak in the excitement and explore the roar of the falls. The cruise takes you past the American Falls into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The water falls from a height of 167 feet at a rate of 600,000 U.S. gallons per second. A complimentary poncho is given to each passenger for the ride. At the conclusion of your experience, you return to the hotel with the remainder of the day to do as you please. Dinner is on your own with restaurants in the area. Niagara Falls offers an array of attractions for the young and young at heart alike. You may want to visit the world famous "Street of Fun" known as Clifton Hill to enjoy an exciting array of theme restaurants, amusement rides, specialty gift shops and arousing musical entertainment. If casino gaming is right up your alley, Niagara Falls has two options for you including the Fallsview Casino and Casino Niagara. You may even wish to revisit the amazing Falls area to stroll through the adjacent shops and along Fallsview Boulevard, or even the Journey Behind the Falls adventure that offers a thrilling behind-the-scenes experience. (Please Note: During your free time, attractions not included in our package will be at your expense and may be subject to availability).

DAY 3

Following breakfast included at the hotel, you have the option to visit Niagara-on-the Lake or remain at the hotel for a day on your own. If you choose Niagara-on-the-Lake, you board the motorcoach and travel to a local winery for a tour and tasting (must meet Canada's legal drinking age requirement) followed by a visit to the quaint historic area for free time to browse the local shops for delightful, unexpected treasures and lunch on your own with a variety of great bistros, local pubs or an intimate restaurant to suit your taste. Niagara-on-the-Lake is often called the loveliest town in Ontario and has a long and distinguished history. Site of the old Neutral Indian Village of Onghiara, it was settled at the close of the American Revolution by Loyalists coming to Upper Canada. Next, you return to the hotel for a brief time to freshen up and join those who stayed in Niagara Falls for the day to depart for dinner included at the Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room. Magnificent panoramic views 775 feet above the Niagara Falls area is coupled with a fabulously prepared meal to complete the world-famous experience. After dinner, you return to the hotel for the remainder of the evening to relax and unwind.

DAY 4

A full breakfast is included at the hotel before you check out and make a brief stop at the Duty Free where you can purchase a variety of gift items before departing Canada. Be sure to have your Passport or Passport Card handy as you are expected to individually present it to the border patrol officials for entry back into the United States. Afterwards, you will depart for home with meal and rest stops enroute.
