DAY 1

Your journey begins with meal and rest stops enroute to the "Bay State", Massachusetts, where upon arrival in Hyannis you check in to the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cape Cod Hyannis (508-771-6100) for a three-night stay. Guest room amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer and iron/ironing board. The hotel features a fitness center, indoor pool and complimentary Wi-Fi. Dinner tonight is included at a local restaurant.

DAY 2

Enjoy breakfast included at the hotel prior to boarding the ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard. Upon arrival, you take a narrated sightseeing tour around this tiny island full of scenic beauty and intriguing history within its quaint little towns. See Vineyard Haven's impressive harbor known for the Steamship Authority Ferries. Visit the lovely seaside village of Edgartown with its stately Greek revival houses dating back to the whaling era of the early 19th century. The windswept shores of Oak Bluffs have the nostalgia of the oldest working carousel in the country coupled with the charm of the brightly painted cottages with decorative gingerbread trim. Martha's Vineyard is a popular summer getaway for the well-known and well-to-do. There will be free time for lunch on your own and browsing the shops in Edgartown. Late afternoon, you depart the island via ferry and return to the mainland. Dinner tonight is included at a local restaurant.

DAY 3

Breakfast is included at the hotel before you board a ferry to escape the hustle and bustle of the mainland with a visit to a tiny island brimming with pristine beauty known as Nantucket Island. The world's former top whaling port is now a National Historic District with windswept shores, charming seaside cottages and blinking lighthouses along the coast, and a delightful downtown featuring quaint inns, boutique stores, and eclectic galleries along its cobblestone streets. Lunch is on your own with time to browse the shops. *Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes for the cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks that line Nantucket's downtown area. Enjoy a narrated driving tour of Nantucket and become acquainted with The Old Mill, "Sconset" Village and its rose-covered cottages, Sankaty Head Lighthouse and its protected areas with the wildlife that call it home. Late afternoon, you depart on the island ferry and return to Hyannis. Upon return to the mainland, dinner is on your own and your escort will offer suggestions in the area.

DAY 4

Your day begins with breakfast included at the hotel before you check out and travel to the "Ocean State", Rhode Island. Upon arrival in Point Judith, you board the ferry to Block Island. Pristine beaches protected by lighthouses and spectacular bluffs offer breathtaking views on this tiny island once referred to as Manisses (the Little God's Island) by the Narragansett Indians. Rock walls lace the countryside dotted with stone cottages, island moors, rolling hills, and towering cliffs with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. While on the island, enjoy a sightseeing tour with free time for lunch on your own and time to browse the shops. A special dinner with a lobster option is included on the porch of The National Hotel. An historic icon of the island, this magnificent Victorian hotel resides in the center of downtown Old Harbor and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views of the harbor as you enjoy your meal. Following dinner, you return by ferry to the mainland and travel to Middletown, RI for check-in at the Holiday Inn Express Newport North Middletown (401-848-7128) for your final night. The hotel amenities include an indoor pool, 24-hour health/fitness center, business center, and complimentary wireless internet access. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities.

DAY 5

Following an extended continental breakfast included at the hotel, you check out and climb aboard a 90-minute Lighthouse and Mimosa Cruise that showcases Rhode Island's most beautiful structures. Sail through Narragansett Bay and enjoy glorious views of these historic landmarks. The cruise includes complimentary mimosas, as well as bottled water and iced tea. After the cruise, you will have a little time to browse downtown Newport and grab a bite of lunch on your own before departing for home with meal and rest stops enroute.
