Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, well-equipped fitness center, an onsite restaurant and guest coin-operated laundry. DAY 2

Once again, breakfast is included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach for a day of touring. Your first stop of the day is at Platters Chocolate Factory. Learn about the history of how Platters started back in 1938 and has come to be well-known for its Orange Chocolate and Sponge Candy. Tasting is believing, so you will have some samples of their specialty candy and time to shop their store to buy some goodies to take home with you. Next, how about a little wine with that chocolate? You will continue onto a local winery with a tour and sampling (you must be 21 or over to participate in the sampling). The Niagara Falls USA area and region has just the right climate and soil for vinifera grapes to thrive. These grapes produce an array of wines ranging from classic pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and riesling to more uncommon styles. Next, you will travel to the historic village of Lewiston for free time on your own for lunch and to browse the shops. Lewiston is referred to as the birthplace of Niagara Falls because the falls began developing 12,000 years ago at the Niagara Gorge, which begins in Lewiston. Afterwards, you will board the coach bound for Lockport, NY. Upon arrival, you will board a vessel for a 2-hour narrated Lockport Canal Cruise. Your fun and informative cruise will take you past five of the original 1800's locks. Three million gallons of water will fill Locks 34 & 35, the only double set on the Erie Canal, and raise the boat 50 feet. Pass under Lockport's "Upside Down Bridge", Lockport's Big Bridge" (the widest bridge in the U.S. at 399 feet wide), through the "deep rock cut" and under lift bridges. The lively narration by the Coast Guard Licensed Captains is also accompanied by canal music that was popular during the 1800's. Dinner is included before you return back to Niagara Falls for the night.

DAY 3

Wake up to breakfast included at the hotel before you board the motorcoach with your local guide for a narrated driving tour of Niagara Falls, NY. Niagara Falls is overflowing with natural beauty and history. Niagara Falls is America's oldest state park and was saved by a group of environmentalists who encouraged New York State to buy the land surrounding the Falls to keep it safe from exploitation. As a result, the park was established in 1885. During your tour of Niagara, you will have admission included to cruise into the falls and experience the thunderous roar and power that makes Niagara Falls a popular tour destination. Water rushes all around as you soak in the excitement and explore the roar of the Falls. The Maid of the Mist will take you past the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls and into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The water falls from a height of 167 feet at a rate of 600,000 U.S. gallons per seconds from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. A complimentary poncho is given to each passenger for the ride. Next, you will visit Herschell Carousel Factory Museum. Within the factory you will find what is most likely the first machine shipped from the Allan Herschell Company factory in March 1916. It carried two types of Herschell horses. The middle and inner rows of horses were originally mounted on an early 1900s Herschell-Spillman track machine. The outer row carried 12 of the "brand new" 1916 Allan Herschell horses. It took 3 U-Haul trucks and a trip to London, Ontario to bring it to the factory in 1982. You will be transformed back to your childhood with an included ride on the Carousel before you depart. After your visit, you will have free time to grab lunch on your own and explore Niagara Falls. Later this afternoon, you will come together with your fellow passengers for an evening at the Niagara Culinary Institute. Your visit includes a tour of the facility, cooking demonstration with samples and a delicious dinner at Savor, their student-run upscale dining restaurant. It's a feast for the senses as you listen to and watch a chef demonstration, as well as smell and taste the creation that is prepared before you. Dinner is included at Savor before you depart and return to the hotel.
