DAY 1
Our day begins with a hearty, family-style lunch made from scratch with local ingredients at Hickory Bridge Farm Restaurant. Nestled in the quaint countryside, Hickory Bridge offers fine dining with country flair, and there is no need to dress up because you are made to feel right at home in their beautifully restored 165-year-old barn. After lunch, we will take a short drive to Totem Pole Playhouse for the performance of Love, Sex and the IRS. Jon and Leslie are out of work musicians who room together in New York City. To save money Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married. The day of reckoning comes when the IRS informs the "couple" they are going to be investigated. Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon's fiancée, Kate. Complicating matters further, Leslie and Kate are having an affair behind Jon's back, Jon's mother drops in unexpectedly to meet her son's fiancée and Leslie's ex-girlfriend shows up demanding to know why Leslie has changed and will not see her. Find out how this story of Love, Sex and the IRS unfolds for Jon and Leslie. Following the performance, we will depart for home.
