BREAKFAST:

NO Reservation required. During the day, "resort casual" dress is appropriate. Dress code for Main Dining room breakfast is collared shirts for gentlemen and only well kept, dark denim is acceptable. Fitness and sports apparel are not permitted at any time in the main dining room. 

 

DINNER:

When dining in the Main Dining Room, dress code requires a jacket and tie for gentlemen, dresses or pants suits for ladies.

 

GREENBRIER DRESS SUGGESTIONS:

Resort casual attire: Collared sports shirts, golf and/or tennis sweaters, shirts or blouses, slacks, walking shorts, Bermuda shorts, golf and/or tennis shorts and shoes.

 

THE CASINO CLUB AT THE GREENBRIER:

Before 7 p.m.: Resort casual attire, including collared sport shirts, sweaters, jackets, dress slacks and walking shorts.  If denim is your attire preference, well-kept denim in a dark shade is acceptable.

 

After 7 p.m.: Business casual attire. Jacket required for gentlemen; dresses, evening suites, dress slacks, dress capris for ladies.  If denim is your attire preference, well-kept denim in a dark shade is ours.

 

 

 

 

DAY 1

Depart this morning for a Christmas to remember at the Greenbrier Hotel. Set amidst stately architecture, abundant scenic beauty and the rich history, you will experience the grandeur that earns the Greenbrier top awards in the hospitality industry. The resort's historic and beautiful estate, nestled in 6,500 acres of Allegheny Mountain woodlands, is the perfect environment for an enjoyable and memorable vacation. While here, enjoy an inviting array of daily activities, take a swim at the indoor pool, take in a movie at the movie theatre, workout in the fitness center, or treat yourself in their 40,000 square-foot spa (additional fees apply for spa treatments and some daily activities, and reservations may be necessary at the spa). Enjoy a true Greenbrier tradition, with an afternoon tea held in the lobby. Guests are invited to join the lovely sounds of music and enjoy a complimentary assortment of teas and cookies. Dinner is included in the main dining room tonight and proper attire is required (See Dress Code Below). The remainder of the evening is on your own to enjoy the resort amenities. Don't forget to visit the Greenbrier Casino Club! Described as Monte Carlo meets Gone with the Wind, The Casino Club blends high-roller thrills with high-class style. Offering world-class gaming at its finest from 320 state-of-the-art slot machines, 37 table games, the Casino Club was ranked the 18th Best Casino in America by TripAdvisor. Relax and enjoy a cocktail at Twelve Oaks a high-end lounge with a refined atmosphere featuring signature cocktails and cordials. Dance the night away or enjoy live entertainment in the 42 Below lounge, the coolest place at the Greenbrier serving signature beverages and an unforgettable time.

DAY 2

Breakfast is included this morning at your leisure. Please follow dress code below while at breakfast and during your free time at The Greenbrier (Refer to Dress Code guidelines below). You have the remainder of the morning through mid-afternoon to relax poolside, enjoy an historic hotel tour, or take a tour of the declassified Bunker at The Greenbrier (additional fees apply). Carved deep into the mountainside beneath the West Virginia Wing is an emergency Cold War fallout shelter that was once a top-secret U.S. government relocation facility for Congress. Relive a legendary piece of The Greenbrier history with a behind the scenes walk-through of a fascinating period in history on this 90-minute narrated tour. This is a walking tour and is 1 mile in length. *No cameras, electronic equipment or cell phones are permitted. Other restrictions may apply. (Note: Additional fees apply for a Bunker Tour. Please contact the Greenbrier directly at 855-453-4858 if you would like to book a Bunker Tour. Call for price and availability at least 30 days prior to your stay). Hotel check out is by 11:00 a.m., but you will remain at the resort until 2:00 p.m. when you board the motorcoach to return home. Lunch is on your own and at your expense while at the resort. This two-day tour is sure to get you relaxed and ready to take on the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season. You will make a dinner stop at your expense on the way home.
