**The CMA Awards Show is Country Musics biggest night and though formal attire is not required, you are encouraged to wear nice dress clothes or even nice western wear attire. There will be people wearing everything from tuxedos and formal gowns to blue jeans with dress jackets and boots. Since this is such a unique and special event to be part of in Music City USA, make it a night on the town for this premier awards event.

With meal and rest stops along the way, our travels today will take us to Morristown, Tennessee for a one-night stay at the Hampton Inn Morristown (423-587-0952). The hotel offers an outdoor seasonal pool, fitness room, a business center, coin operated guest laundry and complimentary high-speed internet throughout the property. Guest room amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Dinner will be on your own this evening.
Our day begins with breakfast at the hotel before we depart and continue our journey to Nashville, but not before a stop in Dandridge, Tennessee home of the Bush's Bean Facility and Visitor Center. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour including a short film and overview of the Bush family history and a glimpse of modern methods of processing and canning beans. Then, take a walk through a giant replica can of Bush's Baked Beans, showing the bean's journey from beginning to end. Be sure to bring your camera and keep an eye out for a Jay and Duke photo opportunity… maybe Duke will divulge the secret family recipe to you! Lunch will be on our own today at the Bush's Family Café known for their sweet desserts and even sweeter people… its homemade dishes and Southern specialties. Be sure to have a piece of the Pinto Bean Pie which tastes like pecan pie and most say it is better! After lunch, we will depart for Nashville where upon arrival we will check in to the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel Nashville (615-259-4343) for a three-night stay. The Millennium is ideally located within a couple of miles of downtown Nashville and Broadway's Honky Tonks, and offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel. In addition, hotel amenities include a fitness center, a business center with Wi-Fi to stay connected with friends and family to let them know how much fun you are having, an outdoor seasonal pool, two in-house restaurants and Maxwell's Lounge. Dinner this evening will be on our own with the remainder of the evening to relax and unwind or take advantage of the complimentary shuttle to explore downtown Nashville on your own.B
Breakfast will be included at the hotel before we meet our local guide for a narrated, sightseeing tour of the Nashville area. As the "Country Music Capital of the World," Nashville is world renowned for its music as well as the honky-tonks where many aspiring musicians play in the hopes that one day they will be discovered and rise to stardom. Additional highlights include the Parthenon and of course drive down Music Row, and more. Lunch today will be on our own in downtown Nashville. Next, have you ever heard of a GooGoo Cluster? Way back in 1912, this milk chocolate delight hit the market and altered what was possible in the confection world by combining more than one element in a candy treat. We will visit Nashville's GooGoo Cluster Shop to enable you to purchase some chocolatey goodness for yourself. Then we will have dinner included at a local restaurant. The evening concludes with the legendary Grand Ole Opry Evening Show. What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 has evolved into a live entertainment phenomenon. Dedicated to honoring country music's rich history, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps. After the show, we will return to the hotel for the night.B, D
It's the day that we have all been waiting for, tonight is the Country Music Awards Ceremony at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Wake to breakfast included at the hotel with a free morning to relax or enjoy some retail therapy at Opry Mills Outlet Center. Lunch will be on our own today. You may want to eat at one of the hotel's restaurants or wait for when we board the motorcoach early afternoon, for transport to downtown Nashville that will be "all-a-buzz" with anticipation of tonight's CMA extravaganza. Dinner this evening will also be on our own in downtown Nashville. Awards are given to country music artists and broadcasters to recognize outstanding achievement in the country music industry. The televised annual presentation ceremony features performers and award presentations by popular country music artists, with occasional appearances from rock and pop artists. The list of award nominees and scheduled performers will be available closer to the show. Breakfast will be included once again at the hotel before we check out and travel to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for our last night of the tour. We will have lunch on our own en route. Upon arrival in Pigeon Forge, we will have free time at The Island to enjoy some shopping at more than 60 unique retail and specialty shops. Then, we will check in to the Hampton Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge on The Parkway (865-428-1600) for the night. The hotel offers an outdoor seasonal pool, a 24-hour business center with complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a fitness center and guest coin operated laundry. Guest rooms feature a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and iron/ironing board. After a brief time to freshen up, we will board the motorcoach and travel to a local restaurant where dinner will be included prior to our evening's entertainment, the Country Tonite Evening Show. The show provides the best in quality entertainment with singing, dancing, comedy, powerful gospel and patriotic numbers in a high-energy performance. It's that "feel good" kind of show that will stay with you long after you leave for home. We will return to the hotel following the performance.B, D
