Begin the day with breakfast at the Clubhouse prior to your mid-morning departure for St. Ignace, Michigan - "The Gateway to the Upper Peninsula" where the great waters of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan meet. You will have free time in downtown for browsing and lunch on your own. After lunch, visit the Wawatam Lighthouse that guards the harbor of St. Ignace, Michigan and the Straits of Mackinac. This afternoon, you leave your modern-day motorized transportation and transfer by ferry to Mackinac Island for check-in to The Lake View Hotel (906-847-3384) for two nights stay. The hotel captures much of the past with its Victorian-style atmosphere and 19th century vernacular resort atmosphere, while offering modern day amenities including indoor heated pool, whirlpool and sauna, in-room television, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and coffeemaker. Dinner will be included this evening with the remainder of the evening to enjoy the resort's amenities.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning followed by a carriage tour of Mackinac Island; the best way to see the island since motorized vehicles are not allowed. Don't forget your camera! Lunch is included at the famous Mackinac Grand Hotel… take a step back into a by-gone era of hospitality and charm. The highlight of your visit to the Grand Hotel is the Grand Luncheon Buffet, served daily in the Main Dining Room overlooking the Straits of Mackinac. The nearly 100-foot buffet offers an assortment of seafood, hot entrees, meats sliced to perfection, crisp salads, fruits and cheeses, vegetables, breads and a dessert table with over 20 different selections. Your afternoon is free to enjoy the island which may include a nap after such a sumptuous lunch or perhaps you may want to rent one of the many bicycles and work-off the lunch as you travel along the lakefront for beautiful views and photo opportunities. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel prior to boarding the ferry for return to St. Ignace where you will find your Wolf's motorcoach waiting for you to hop on board for travel north to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A stop will be made for lunch on your own before continuing to Paradise, Michigan to visit the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.
