Upon late afternoon arrival in Pigeon Forge, TN the coach will take you directly to your host hotel for the next 3 nights - The Mainstay Suites in Pigeon Forge (865-428-8350). The hotel features complimentary high speed internet, an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, jogging track/trail, and whirlpool/hot tub. In-room amenities include a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and iron/ironing board. You will have time to freshen up prior to dinner at the hotel complete with singing and storytelling by a local musician.D
Begin your day with a continental breakfast served at the hotel. From breakfast, board the coach with a local guide for a narrated drive through the Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy the splendor and beauty of the mountains and keep your eyes peeled for bear, deer, raccoons and any of the many animals and wildlife of the Smokies. Your guide will enlighten you on both the natural and cultural history of the mountains and the people that call it home. After your tour, you will have free time in downtown Gatlinburg to explore the shops and grab lunch on your own. Next stop today is for free time at The Island where you will be able to enjoy over 40 shops in your quest for some great souvenirs of your trip. Dinner this evening is at the Applewood Farmhouse Grill appropriately named as it is surrounded by orchards in the heart of Sevierville, TN and is known for its delicious servings of Southern comfort food, including apple fritters, of course. After dinner, it's a short ride by coach to the Country Tonite Theatre for the award winning "Country Tonite" show. 2018 will be its 21st-year in Pigeon Forge. The show provides best in quality entertainment with singing, dancing, comedy, gospel and Patriotic numbers in a two-hour show… from old country to new, this show has it all. Once again, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel prior to departure by coach to Asheville, NC and the home of Biltmore Estate. The largest privately-owned house in the United States, originally built by George Washington Vanderbilt II and completed in 1895… just a mere 178,926 square feet of floor space. You will have time this morning to enjoy a self-guided walking tour of this magnificent house which spans three floors and the basement. You will see displays of vintage clothing, accessories, art, furniture and more that tells the story and illustrates the lives of the Vanderbilt family and their guests. Lunch after your tour will be included at the Deerpark Restaurant in the estate grounds for a delicious taste-of-the-south buffet. From lunch you will have free time to browse Antler Hill Village featuring a unique selection of American made arts and crafts, top brand fashions, and a wine shop. Later this afternoon, board your coach for return to Pigeon Forge for a special dinner and admission at the Titanic Museum. Here, you will dine in an elegant setting as if on board the ill-fated passenger ship. Enjoy the displays of the museum which includes actual artifacts from the ship. Continental breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. This morning your coach will transport you to Dollywood. Enjoy this day in the park with admission to the park and to the Dollywood Craft and Entertainment Village. Enjoy the crisp autumn air, free concerts and festive events. As the leaves begin to change, Dollywood is decked out in its finest autumn attire. Later this afternoon, transfer to The Hatfields and McCoys dinner show for some feudin' family fun that includes delicious food, singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy. From the Hatfields and McCoys, it's off to the Smoky Mountain Opry Evening Show, the area's largest musical variety show. The music features Big Band Swing through today's country all presented to you by a talented cast of singers, dancers, comedians and musicians. After the show, return to your hotel to pack your bags and spend your last night in Pigeon Forge at the Mainstay Suites.B, D
