Day 1

We begin our journey with meal and rest stops en route to Cincinnati, Ohio, where we will check into the glorious Crowne Plaza Cincinnati Blue Ash (513-793-4500) for the next three nights. The hotel features an indoor heated pool, fitness center, business center, a casual restaurant and lobby-style lounge bar. In-room amenities include a coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, complimentary wireless high speed internet, and 32-in. flat screen television. Dinner this evening will be included at the hotel with time afterwards to enjoy the amenities or relax and unwind in your room.

Day 2

Breakfast will be included at the hotel prior to departure for the Creation Museum. Located in Petersburg, Kentucky, the Creation Museum brings the pages of the Bible to life featuring 160 inspiring exhibits divided into uniquely configured spaces that allow for personal interactions. Marvel at the waterfall, the towering trees, large aquarium and the live animal exhibits as you pass through the Main Hall. Wonder through the Dig Site and see a coal mine, fossil displays and a dinosaur skeleton under excavation. Learn about the 7 C's of history including Creation, Corruption and Catastrophe. That's not all, witness the three magnificent gardens that glorify the landscape and are home to creatures both great and small. See a 12-foot topiary dinosaur strike a fearsome pose in the rainforest amid the logs in the lake that provide a safe haven for the turtles. Visit the bog garden that is home to the amazing Venus flytrap and pitcher plant. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty as you gaze at the rich palate of bright flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies to the hillside garden. During your self-guided tour of the museum, you will have time for lunch on your own. At the conclusion of our time at the Creation Museum, we will depart for a guided tour of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Building the Cathedral was the dream of the Most Reverend Camilius Paul Maes. The project began in 1894 and ended in 1915, incomplete. Traditionally, churches attained the title of basilica because of their antiquity, dignity, historical importance, or significance as centers of worship. Cathedrals were the physical centers of expanding commercial cities. Though largely unfinished even today, the Cathedral is an art and architectural monument that speaks of faith and determination of the Bishop and the community. Next, we will return to the hotel to freshen up for dinner included this evening at a local restaurant. The remainder of the evening will be yours to take a relaxing swim or reflect quietly upon your experience at the Creation Museum.

Day 3

Following breakfast included at the hotel, we will depart for Williamstown, Kentucky, for the highly anticipated visit to the Ark Encounter. The largest timber frame structure in the world and an engineering masterpiece, the Ark stands seven stories tall and spans 510 feet long (equivalent to a football field and a half long), 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. Built according to the dimensions given in the Bible, enter Noah's world and tour three decks filled with scores of stunning exhibits that will allow you to experience what his life may have been like while on the Ark. According to the Bible, Noah's Ark was a safe haven for representatives of all kinds of air-breathing land animals and flying creatures. Ark researchers estimate a maximum of around 7,000 animals were on board, and Noah and his family still had sufficient space for food, water and other storage. How did Noah fit all the animals on board? How did Noah care for all the animals? How did Noah build the Ark? These questions and much more about the year-long global Flood are answered in the mind-blowing and thought-provoking exhibits. During your self-guided visit to the Ark, take time for lunch on your own in Emzara's Kitchen featuring comfort foods and some specialty items. After our time at the Ark, we will return to the hotel to freshen up before we conclude our adventure into the past with a delightful and scenic dinner cruise aboard a riverboat. Float leisurely down the mighty Ohio with amazing scenery along the waterfront while you dine on a delectable meal. A glorious way to finish a one-of-a-kind experience! Following our riverboat cruise, we will return to the hotel for the evening.
